WHY A.T.B. LUBRICANT? Most commercial chain lubricants are too thick and too sticky to function properly as a bicycle chain lubricant. Dust and dirt collect on the sticky lubricants and create an abrasive condition which quickly wears out the chain, the chain rings, and sprockets. A.T.B. Chain lubricant was blended with the least oily, least sticky extreme pressure and friction reducing compound available. A very special blended petroleum distillate carrier (which has lubricating qualities as well) was used as the carrier for the extreme pressure compound. In addition to the two proprietary compounds, a premium grade lubricating oil with very high load carrying capability was added to extend the service life and create a light rust preventative film. A special wicking agent has been blended in to allow the deep penetrating action required.

Threadlockers lock threaded assemblies and keep them from loosening. Notice: Park Tool AP-1 Adhesive Primer must be used to prep all components, fasteners and carbon fiber surfaces prior to application of Park Tool threadlockers or retaining compound. Failure to do so could result in permanently bonded parts.

Our Classic Freehub Oil is a great addition for the bicycle market and another superior product from Dumonde Tech. Freehub Oil is the original lubricant on the market specifically designed for Pawl style freehubs which require a lightweight lubricant. Freehub Oil performs consistently throughout a wide temperature range. "Flow Point" is -40 degrees, is extremely low friction, providing the greatest protection. Simply follow the manufacturer's specification for the volume of oil required in your freehub body to experience the superior performance of Dumonde Tech's Freehub Oil. With Freehub Oil being lightweight, growing reports for other applications have been reported. It can be used as cable lube and brake lever lubricant for the small moving parts and the lightweight spring action they have. Time and cold temperatures do not affect the performance of Freehub Oil like with heavier viscosity, time and temperature aged greases. Preparation and Application of Dumonde Tech Original Chain Lube: To prepare for maximum performance from Dumonde Tech Original Chain Lube, use a high quality solvent, for example Dumonde Tech Citrus Solvent, to thoroughly clean and dry the chain before the first application. You will only need to clean the chain once, prior to the first application of Original. For optimum performance, 2-3 applications is required for the bonding process to occur through polymerization. Apply sparingly and wipe off excess lubricant with a clean cloth to the point where the chain’s outer surface appears dry. One ounce of Dumonde Tech should give you at least 10 applications. Refer to FAQ if you experience a wet and/or dirty chain after riding. Re-apply Dumonde Tech Original only when you begin to hear your chain; sound, not appearance or time, is the best indicator of when the chain needs a reapplication of Original. Use mild soap and water to clean between applications. NOTE: Not available for Export. Cannot be shipped via air.
