The Genius 10 Mega Road Cycling Shoe doesn't mess around when it comes to rigidity and speed. It's built for superb power transfer so we never feel like we're wasting watts, and complete with a nylon and injected carbon fiber sole for lightness and stiffness. The "Mega" range is designed around a higher volume shoe for wider feet. A reinforced heel cup keeps our feet from sliding around, and Sidi's dial system allows for micro-adjustments so we can customize our ideal fit.

Microtech Microfiber incorporates features of resistance, stability, lightness, transpirability, water-repellency and eco-friendliness. It is manufactured using the "Water-Tech” water treatment: - Lower environmental impact - Less noxious emissions into the air and into the work environment - Water-based products, not solvents, were used, which is beneficial to the environment as well as the final user. The Soft Instep 4 Closure System is a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermo-formed EVA pad that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area. The Soft Instep Closure System is adjustable from both sides, to perfectly center the EVA pad over a high or low instep. The system eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender. The Soft Instep Closure System is replaceable. Sidi's Techno-3 System dials in fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. Sidi's famously reliable and replaceable closures are improved by an all-new proprietary Sidi Wire material that is completely non-binding for intuitive and effortless on-the-fly adjustments. Like most Sidi small parts, the Techno-3 Buckle is serviceable and replaceable. - Reinforced heel cup. - The MTB RS17 SOLE consists of a Nylon and PU blend. This sole is lighter than the traditional competition sole and has been updated with a more aggressive tread pattern and a replaceable toe tread insert. - Regular "D" width last for precise fit.

- Upper: Politex suede effect, mesh, upper drilled on the inside. The "Politex” material is constructed of several overlapping layers with different physical mechanical properties. The compacted PVC is then coupled to two fabrics (knitted fabric + felt) that is then film dyed for long-lasting color retention. "Politex” offers strong resistance to ripping, laceration, stretching and fading. "Politex” is made in strict compliance with European regulations and is a totally "green” product. - Has been specifically studied for this specialty, may be fitted with two toe spikes on the front for traction in difficult and muddy conditions. This infusion of carbon fiber in the nylon increases sole stiffness and durability, ensuring optimum performance in the face of prolonged use and temperature changes. CALIPER BUCKLE - SIDI’s TECHNO-3 PUSH dials in fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. SIDI’s famously reliable and replaceable closures are improved by an all new proprietary SIDI Wire material that is completely non-binding for intuitive and effortless on-the-fly adjustments. Like most SIDI small parts, the TECHNO-3 PUSH buckle is serviceable and replaceable. It can be adjusted while riding, thanks to an innovative button which can be pushed to lift the buckle and facilitate the adjustment. SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM - The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermo-formed EVA pad that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area. The Sidi Genius Fit replaces the previous 5 Pro road shoe adding the Millennium 4 carbon composite sole that gives the shoe a 37% increase in stiffness and improves energy transfer to the pedals. The upper stays very much the same with two Velcro straps with the stepped locking security system and one ratcheting strap with the Ultra SL buckle. The Ultra SL buckle can be adjusted when on the bicycle and when paired with the Soft Arch Compression strap, provides a comfortable yet incredibly secure fit. Molded plastic heel cup further keeps the foot in place while cycling. Mesh vents are placed at the ankle, along the top of the fore foot, and in the toe box. Sidi's Technomicro upper material is durable, supple, and cow free.
