Boostinator kits allow non-boost wheels to be mounted in Boost spacing frames and forks. While incremental, the benefits of the "Boost" 15x110mm front and 12x148mm rear axle standards are clear: better clearance for fatter tires & rims and reduced dish for stiffer, stronger wheels. The big bummer? Taking full advantage requires not only a new frame and fork, but new wheels as well. In response, we have developed the Boostinator. When paired with compatible 15x100mm or 12x142mm hubs, Boostinator kits allow existing wheels to be mounted in Boost-standard frames and forks. Disc and drivetrain positions are maintained and, thanks to a quick re-dish, spoke bracing angles are improved. Boostinator kits consist of a specially-designed axle end cap and, in the case of rear kits, a precision-machined rotor spacer with a set of six high-strength bolts. In keeping with Boost specifications, the disc and cassette are shifted outboard, allowing brakes and derailleurs to function as designed. Compatibility: - Front boostinators are only an endcap and do not require a rotor spacer. The wheel is re-dished. - Rear boostinators require both a re-dish and rotor spacer. - Rear Boostinator kits are not approved for rotors larger than 183mm. - Hubs spacing is 100mm front and 142 rear, and the Boostinators make them 110 and 148 respectively. - Compatible with 6-bolt FRONT wheels and SOME centerlock models. - Compatible with ONLY 6-bolt REAR wheels (there is no way to space centerlock rotors over 6mm). - NOT recommend (or safe) for non-symmetric lacing like the 2:1 lacing found on some of Industry Nine's wheels. *Note: You will need to re-dish your wheel after installing any Boosinator. Boostinator DR: - The Boostinator DR is compatible with DT-Swiss 12x142mm Star Ratchet (240- and 350-series) rear hubs with 6-bolt (IS) rotor mounts. - Centerlock hubs are not supported. - 180- and 190-series hubs are Centerlock only. - The Boostinator DR is also compatible with some complete wheels from DT Swiss, Roval (Specialized), Giant, Syncros (Scott), and others that use DT's Star Ratchet internals. - Remove the disc side end cap. Bearing size 6802 15x24. - Net weight: 18g Boostinator HR: - The Boostinator HR is compatible with 12x142mm Hope Pro 2 EVO and Pro 4 rear hubs. - Non-EVO Pro 2 hubs are not supported - Net weight: 18g Boostinator 9TR: - Compatible with 142x12 rear Industry Nine Torch hubs. - Not compatible with 2:1 lacing wheels from Industry Nine - Not compatible with Centerlock hubs Tech Specs: - Material: 6061 aluminum - Included: Rear kits come with appropriate-length Class 10.9 bolts, each roughly 40% stronger than more common Class 8.8 hardware.

E-bikes add to the riding experience by simply providing more for less. More distance, more laps, more climbs, and more descents. With all those "mores" also comes more weight continually bashing on the components of an e-bike. In order to overcome the increased forces induced by the technological progression of modern e-bikes, we designed our HTZ rims with more material in every area of the rim prole. Every wall of the rim is 25-30% thicker in comparison to those on our standard rims, which we then paired with our proven I-Beam center support to ensure no beating was too great for these rims. All HTZ rims are TCS 2.0 tubeless, feature asymmetrical spoke drilling, and are available in widths ranging from i23 to i35 in order to provide options for e-bikes ranging from e-assist gravel bikes to dual-crown downhill bikes that no longer need a truck to be shuttled. FEATURES: - Capable of withstanding the forces of a modern e-bike. - 4D angled spoke drilling eliminates binding and lateral loading and disperses tension more evenly over a greater area. - Symmetric outer profile provides equal dissipation of impact forces on both sides of the rim while asymmetric spoke hole drilling allows for more even spoke tension and increased wheel strength. - Disc-brake only. - TCS 2.0 Tubeless ready and comes with a preinstalled Solid Strip, which lies beneath the tubeless tape and prevents sagging at the spoke holes, creating a smooth interface between the rim and tire bead. This prevents air from escaping around the bead and therefore requires less air volume and pressure to mount a tire. Solid Strip also protects the airtight tubeless system from being punctured in the case of a broken spoke. TCS 2.0 creates a more robust, easily installed, and dependable tubeless system. USAGE: E-bike

WTB's proprietary 4D spoke drilling prevents binding and lateral loading of the spokes, while the spoke bed itself has been updated to provide a more compatible interface between the spoke and rim. Integration of the all-new Solid Strip on our TCS 2.0 rims delivers the easiest to mount and most reliable tubeless system we've ever made. Features: - TCS 2.0 creates a more robust, easily installed and dependable tubeless system. - A recessed channel along the center of TCS 2.0 rims allows installation of the all-new Solid Strip, which prevents tubeless tape from sagging at the spoke holes and results in a smooth, consistent interface between the tire and rim. - 4D angled spoke drilling eliminates binding and lateral loading, and disperses tension more evenly over a greater area

Born on the World Cup, destined for your local trails. We poured World Championship-winning engineering into developing an all-new alloy for these Control wheels. To increase the new material's durability, we customized our shot peening process—where metal projectiles are shot at the alloy to increase its strength—meeting the precise demands of our XC riders. If that wasn't enough, to eliminate creaking and reduce weight, individually customized sleeves are chosen to bond every single rim. The result is a wildly over-engineered, trail-ripping, best-of-the-best, aluminum wheel; held to the same standards as our highest-end Control SL carbon components. Whether you are looking for a solid set of training wheels that will handle it all or a big upgrade from entry-level wheels, Roval Control Alloy is the go-to wheel. With creak-free hoop construction that's laced to high-performance and proven DT Swiss hubs, you can tap into a wheelset born from World Cup technology that's ready for all riders. - Rim: Control Alloy Asymmetric, 6013 Alloy Shot-Pened, 29", Disc Brake, Zero Bead Hook Design, Tubeless Compatible, Compatible with Tire Inserts - Rim Details: 19mm Depth, 31mm External Width, 27mm Internal Width - Hub: DT Swiss 350 Straight-pull 6-bolt, Star Ratchet 36t internals (10 degs), 110x15mm & 148x12mm, Sram XD Freehub (Convertible freehub ) - Bearing Type: DT Swiss Sealed Steel Cartridge Bearings - Spokes: Sapim D-Light Straightpull, Front: Two-cross (1:1) 28 count, R: 304mm, L: 304mm - Rear: Two-cross (1:1) 28 count, DS: 304mm NDS: 304mm - Nipple: Sapim Secure Lock Double Square Alloy Blk, 2.0 x 18mm, 16cNm - Tire Size: 1.9" - 2.6" - Max Pressure: 1.9"-2.3": 40psi, 2.35"-2.5": 35psi, 2.51" -2.6": 30psi - Weight: Wheelset 1,648g, Front 768g, Rear 880g (excluding 15g, tubeless rim tape, and tubeless valve) - Assembly Method: Hand-built - Extras: Roval Tubeless Rim Tape and Tubeless Valve, Spare Spoke & Nipple Kit, 19 and 31mm OD Endcaps, Lifetime Warranty System Weight Limit: 275lbs / 125kg

In the early design phases of our Traverse Fattie 29, we recognized that the number of aluminum wheels that had the prowess to both shred rowdy descents and to provide the efficiency required of our Northern California testing grounds' relentless climbs were far and few between. We also came to realize that trail riders expect certain features in a proper, send-it-ready wheelset. And for the price, we found that alloy hit many of these expectations, while also keeping enough jingle-jangle in your wallet for a post-ride beverage. Along with light overall weight, stiffness, and durability, another top priority for the Traverse was ease of use. First off, we got rid of the creaky straight-pull spokes and corrosion-prone alloy nipples. Next up, we landed on 28 J-bend spokes, for front and rear wheels, that are all the same length—making it easy to find replacements if needed. And finally, we engineered a new hub design, with a wider profile and higher flange to aid in overall stiffness. We took the traditional 19- to 23-millimeter standard and moved it out to what we found worked best in testing—a whopping 30mm “Fattie” width. A wide rim does a variety of things for ride performance—it better supports the tire for increased confidence and grip, it affords you the ability to run lower pressures, and it spreads impact out over a larger surface area to reduce the risk of damage. We also added our Zero Bead hook design to the mix, and this ultimately aids in preventing “burps” during hard cornering, while also making tubeless set up quick and easy. After developing what we found to be the perfect alloy trail wheels, we went farther down the perfection path, hand-lacing the rims to our own alloy hubs that allow for the same spoke length throughout the entire wheelset, via 28 DT Swiss Revolution J-Bend spokes and Pro Lock nipples. Inside our hubs, you'll find sealed cartridge bearings and DT Swiss 360 rear internals that'll keep you rolling smoothly for miles. We also wanted to ensure that each wheel was built correctly, so we built them by hand. Each wheelset comes packaged with a SRAM XD-driver and a tubeless valve stem in order to make tubeless set-up a touch easier. Please note that Shimano freehubs are sold separately.

Wheels are the first point of contact between you and your bike, and the trail you’re riding on. And while wheel sizes and standards continue to develop significantly year on year, often to both the rider and the industry’s dismay, very little innovation has been seen in the compliancy and responsiveness of the wheel as this first, most important contact and conductor. What Spank has seen in recent years is that bike suspension is continuously evolving and adapting to compensate for stiffer frames and more rigid, deeper profile carbon fiber rims. This overall stiffer rig is being softened, or counter-acted by both bike suspension, and tire design — not to mention the ever lower and lower tire pressures riders are running. Rider position (wider, lower, more forward) is also being impacted directly by the bike frame and cockpit geometries which is constantly aiming for a better riding feel. So surely it is overdue time to re-examine how the engineering of the wheel can become an active contributor to the efficiency of the overall set up. Spank Industries has done just this. - Low sectional profile height and wide width, adds radial compliance, while keeping high lateral stiffness. - 30mm internal width extremely versatile, fitting tires from 2.0” to 2.6” perfectly, and even allowing + size tire use, without negative squaring off of tire profiles. - Ideal for Trail/AM/Enduro bikes looking for a wide profile, without the weight penalty

With stunning acceleration, the new DURA-ACE R9270 C36 wheelset will change the way you experience climbs, corners, even stop lights. This is because it isn't just how much a wheel weighs but where the weight is on the wheel that matters. The all-new C36 design shaves mass at every opportunity but especially at the rim. Road Tubeless ready tires are now widely available as the technology, materials, and design and manufacturer commitment have improved. We also have seen the increase in tubeless ready road wheelsets across a greater price range. Shimano and Hutchinson were the two original Road Tubeless partners, so the Japanese component giant has always delivered options, and now continues to flesh out the line with this 1649 gram, rim brake, 105/Ultegra equivalent level WH-RS500 TL Wheelset. Shimano's aluminum rims, welded joint, with machined brake tracks are outstanding. The 24mm deep rim profile design offers good rolling speed, and balanced by a 20.8mm external width (15mm internal), great lateral strength. The front carries 16 stainless steel straight-pull spokes, in high tension, to a machined aluminum hub. A 14mm oversized alloy axle carries Shimano's preferred cup and cone bearing system. The rear wheel has a stouter 20 hole hub variant laced 2x/2x with the straight pull spokes. The freehub body is steel, which holds up to considerable use, especially with loose cog cassettes. The rim bed was designed for use with Road Tubeless tires and standard clincher tires with tubes. Tire width range is considered 23-32mm, with the sweet spot from 23-28mm. There is a max recommend weight for rider, gear and bike: 220 lbs. The freehub is 11-speed and requires a 1.8mm spacer for 9 or 10 speed use. Roubaix. Flanders. E3. These races test wheels to their absolute limit. The best solution came in the form of a tough, box-section aluminum rim, still raced by some teams today. We took inspiration from that shape, and engineered a gravel rim with the compliance you want over harsh surfaces, but the lateral stiffness to make every effort count. Gravel riding offers a bit of roll-your-own style, but these types of races and rides favor light weight over bump absorption, so most opt to leave the suspension at home. This is where the new Santa Cruz Reserve 22 wheels really shine.

The EWS is strict—break certain parts and you DNF. The rule’s meant to encourage sensible management of equipment, but it’s also tipped the balance in favor of toughness and reliability. Enter the Reserve 30. Its 30mm internal width supports a 2.3-2.5” tire and the thick rim beads stand up to the abuse of tough, rocky, steep tracks ridden at elite speed. While DH rims see greater single impacts, nothing beats the full weekend of regular abuse that an EWS race dishes out. To say nothing of the infamous 'Anti-Grip' and the rocks buried within the moondust in the Andes of Chile. This wheel is compatible with Ebikes.

The relatively young Reserve crew began back in just 2014, however, with a team that tallies up decades of experience, it's unsurprising that what started as a mountain bike themed wheel-company has ascended to manufacture a full-range of sought-after dropbar bike wheelsets as well. And their 22 DT Swiss Wheelset takes aim directly at the gravel scene with its shallow profile, tubeless design. Reserve took inspiration from the famed spring-classics that notoriously test every wheelset daring enough to roll over their heavily-cobbled farm roads. Reserves settled on the low-profile and tough box-design, which we see in the 22mm deep 22, which also happens to be 22mm internal. Tubeless-ready, it's recommended to hold tires ranging from 30-45mm in width to easily handle the spread of race-ready narrow cyclocross tread to the super-low psi, meaty gravel tires for your cross-state, three-day weekend adventure. Reserve laces the 22 with Sapim CX-Ray spokes to DT Swiss 350 hub, which offers durable and reliable rolling year-round.
