Get gravel-y with us on our social—not epic—destination gravel ride series! We’re exploring some of the best riding areas around Portland within a fun, supportive group ride format. We welcome riders with some gravel experience who can easily tackle 40+ miles of pedaling on mixed terrain with some good climbing/descending. Ride-ready gravel bikes with 40mm+ tires required. GOOD DIRT! RCB x NWTA MTB Rides
Hit the trails with us and our friends at Northwest Trail Alliance! Learn more about the trail systems from the folks who know them best, make new ride friends and experience a fun day out —all within a very social group ride format. We top things off with a tailgater sesh back at the meetup spot. Modern mountain bikes are required.

Every Saturday at 9am | - Road Bike - Weekly Women's Road Group Ride This is a rain or shine ride! Prepare for 30-40 miles with a pace that generally hovers in the 14-19 mph range, faster than a recreational cruise. Every Wednesday @ 5pm April - May Roll out 5:15pm | - Road Bike - RCB’s Weekly Intermediate Road Rides A group ride intended for experienced and intermediate level bicyclists. Enjoyed at a social/conversational pace along the Springwater Corridor bikeway, across the Sellwood Bridge, up through Riverview Cemetery and onward–incorporating a variety of rolling hills and a few challenging climbs on neighborhood streets–before stopping and beginning to disperse from Council Crest Park in SW Portland. Ride leaders will guide riders back to the start point at our stores, when needed/requested. | Meet at RCB's MLK store parking lot. * Please do not park in main lot for ride. |
Every Thursday @ 5pm May - June Roll out 5:15pm | - Gravel Bike - RCB’s Weekly Forest Park Gravel Rides - Download ride route here A weekly ride intended for all levels of gravel bicyclists. Enjoyed at mellow/conversational pace from River City Bicycles to the Steel Bridge, to NW Naito Parkway, up NW Thurman St and into Forest Park along NW Leif Erikson Dr. While ride leaders will keep the pace as inclusive and social as possible, riders are encouraged to “choose their own pace and adventure” once into Forest Park, enabling faster and more ambitious groups to form and allowing slower riders to pedal comfortably. Efforts are made to re-group at the picnic table at NW Leif Erikson Dr and NW Saltzman, while it is understood that riders may disperse and guide themselves home at any point. | Meet at RCB's MLK store parking lot. * Please do not park in main lot for ride. |
