The KS LEV DX Dropper Seatpost is a more cost effective version of the LEV that sacrifices none of the legendary performance. While it gives up the flashier actuator lever, the remainder is essentially the same, making it a perfect option for those who can deal with a few added grams when it keeps a few dollars in their pockets. The LEV is prized for, among other things, the fixed cable box at the lower collar. The upshot is that you achieve a fixed cable position, which simplifies cable routing, and reduces the chance of your cable loop getting caught up in your suspension linkage. Further aiding the cable routing, you’re able to adjust the orientation of the cable box independently of the post’s rotation. This routing method is more user friendly than the stealth routing that’s become popular, while also being compatible with a number of frames that simply don’t allow for stealth routing in the first place. One of the immediately recognizable traits of the LEV is that the saddle is fixed in place, unlike many other posts that have a small degree of play out of the box. This is because the LEV is held in place by a one-way roller bearing, which clamps the inner post tight. Atop the inner-post, you’ll find a micro-adjust, zero-offset head allows for perfect saddle setup. Among the well-considered details that set the LEV apart, one of our favorites is the handlebar mounted remote. Unassuming as it may be, this miniscule engineering marvel feels great in the hand, and is a snap to operate. It’s designed to stand in place of the inner clamp on an ODI lock-on grip, should you choose. The DX forgoes the hinged clamp and carbon lever on the LEV in favor of an aluminum version, but like its composite sibling, it isn’t adorned with the sharp edges that can turn other actuator levers into flesh-hungry blades in the event of a crash.

But that wasn't enough. Our engineers wanted to do more; i.e. to drastically improve shifting performance. The ultra-high quality bearings, positioned in the most extreme points of the central axle, guarantee the maximum smoothness and perfect efficiency of the pedalling over time. The new Power Torque System(TM) used for the Centaur(TM) crankset is the ideal solution for the Campagnolo(R) 10s drivetrains, with high rigidity of the cranks and chainrings along with an extremely limited weight, to achieve the most efficient power transmission. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Power Torque System™. This time, the axle is in a single piece firmly fixed to the right pedal crank of the crankset. To make the bottom bracket more efficient, we also worked on the inner part. Thanks to an elaborate sequence of thicknesses, we were able to obtain an incredibly light axle while offering an absolute response in terms of rigidity. Thanks to the studies conducted by the Campy Tech Lab engineers, material was removed in the zones that could be lightened but at the same time the points of maximum stress were strengthened. Only in this way was it possible to achieve such a high technical value. A careful working out of the dimensions made it possible to maintain the lateral measurements already defined with the "elder brother" Ultra Torque™, thus guaranteeing the maximum freedom of movement and reducing the possibility of contact with the shoes. The Campagnolo engineers concentrated on ensuring that installation and servicing would be extremely simple. The most complicated work has been done, so now it''s up to you to carry out four simple steps to fit the Power Torque System™ crankset quickly and with no potential for error. The right-hand bearing is already locked in the axle in correspondence with the crankset; the other is pre-inserted in the left-hand cup. No special tool is required, and the new crankset is ready to propel you over endless miles. That''s right, because another one of the objectives of the Power Torque System™ project was prolonged operating resistance.
